MECM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MECM Engineer, either in our Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO location, to join our dynamic team, supporting Fortune 500 and 1000 customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, and related Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with customers, management, and peers to design, implement, configure, and support MECM, Intune, Windows-based devices, Windows operating systems, mobile devices, Group Policies, and other essential Microsoft services. The role involves hands-on support, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices. Growth opportunities, mentorship, and training are integral parts of this position. Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune.
• Provide senior-level consultation on all aspects of MECM and Intune.
• Architect, design, and implement MECM and Intune solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Optimize MECM and Intune configurations for diverse environments.
• Conduct health assessments of existing implementations and recommend improvements.
• Provide ongoing support for MECM and Intune environments in day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for system performance and configuration issues.
• Offer expert knowledge on Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enhance service delivery.
• Apply IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies to improve service quality.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, envision, design, implement, and support Windows-based devices.
• Lead OS deployment, upgrades, migrations, and patch management efforts.
• Provide expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Intune, AirWatch, and MobileIron.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with customers, peers, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) design, implementation, and support.
• 3+ years of experience working with Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & 11 preferred).
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune.
• 1+ years of experience managing Microsoft tablet and mobile devices.
• Proven track record of leading MECM and Intune implementations.
• Enterprise-level experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining MECM and Intune.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer/Architect level.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a distributed team.
• Confidently contribute to team discussions, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and task management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred: Administrative experience in MECM and related tools.
