Tanium Endpoint Management Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Tanium Endpoint Management Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting Fortune 500 and 1000 customers. This is onsite in either Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Tanium technologies while assisting in the migration from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). The ideal candidate will collaborate with customers, management, and peers to design, implement, configure, and support Tanium Endpoint Management solutions, Windows-based devices, Windows operating systems, and related infrastructure. The role involves hands-on support, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices. Growth opportunities, mentorship, and training are integral parts of this position. Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting Tanium Endpoint Management solutions.
• Provide senior-level consultation on all aspects of Tanium Endpoint Management.
• Architect, design, and implement Tanium solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Optimize Tanium configurations for diverse environments.
• Conduct health assessments of existing implementations and recommend improvements.
• Provide ongoing support for Tanium environments in day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for system performance and configuration issues.
• Offer expert knowledge on Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enhance service delivery.
• Apply IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies to improve service quality.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, envision, design, implement, and support Windows-based devices.
• Lead OS deployment, upgrades, migrations, and patch management efforts.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with customers, peers, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Tanium Endpoint Management design, implementation, and support.
• 3+ years of experience working with Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & 11 preferred).
• Proven track record of leading Tanium implementations.
• Enterprise-level experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Tanium solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer/Architect level.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a distributed team.
• Confidently contribute to team discussions, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and task management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred: Administrative experience in Tanium and related tools.
